The Bollywood Industries Imagine dancer and blue eye romantic boy Shahid Kapoor with Priyanka Chopra in lead role in Bollywood film “Kaminey“. Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, who are presently busy in Pune shooting at the Taj for Vishal Bharadwaj. The film is to ready for entertainment in March 2009.

Shahid Kapoor did not have a very pleasant time while shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminey’ at Pune. First, it was his female fan following which created mobbing and gate-crashing for autographs making it difficult for Shahid to get to the sets from Taj where he was staying.The second mishap took place on Thursday when Shahid fell off a bike with his co-star Priyanka Chopra. The accident took place while the duo were shooting for a scene that required Priyanka to ride a bike with Shahid on the back seat.

The two were riding the bike on a slope that was slightly muddy when the two-wheeler skidded and the two fell off. And to make matter worse, the bike fell on top of them. Now both the stars sport quite a few bruises on their body.

“By god’s grace, I am fine and so is Shahid, except for a few cuts and bruises. I think the only thing that is seriously damaged is my ego, otherwise I am alive and kicking, ” Priyanka was quoted as saying in a press statement

Top player to miss IPL : Breaking News

NEW DELHI (AFP) — The Indian Premier League may bring unforseen riches to the world’s top cricketers, but not everyone has fallen for the lure of the lucre.

Australian captain Ricky Ponting and senior pro Michael Hussey opted out of the IPL’s second season starting in South Africa on Saturday to rest tired limbs after a back-breaking schedule.

Having played non-stop cricket since September, both players preferred to take a breather before a tour of England which features the World Twenty20 championships in June followed by the Ashes.

The IPL may not have been an attractive proposition for them anyway. Ponting, one of the modern greats, was sold for a surprisingly low 400,000 dollars to the Kolkata Knight Riders at last year’s auction.

Hussey, a prolific left-hander, was also picked up cheap by the Chennai Super Kings at 350,000 dollars.

Two other Australians, Michael Clarke and Mitchell Johnson, did not even put themselves up for auction, saying they wanted to concentrate on their international careers.

Case registered against M S Dhoni and Harbhajan ; hearing Tomorrow

Muzaffarpur: A criminal case has been filed in a court on Thursday accusing Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh with ‘hurting’ fans by staying away from the Padma awards function.

Dhoni and Bhajji were to be honoured with the Padma Shree by President Pratibha Patil in New Delhi on Tuesday. Continue Reading »
